The final Project consisted of a museum that included artwork of different artists. The aim of the project was to incorporate new ideas that were learned in the class that had not been implemented before. Even though lighting had been implemented in a previous assignment, this project elaborated to a greater degree how hard it is to utilize lighting to a particular project. So from saying this, I can easily say that most of my time was spent trying to make the lighting of the project more realistic. Other ideas used were texture maps and blending. Texture maps, although not very hard to understand and use, came out to be very useful in this project. Considering that my project was a museum, all the walls, ceiling, floor, and paintings were texture maps. It is just a little tedious trying to figure out where each corner in the texture map went to which point in the coordinates. However, actually thinking back almost every part of the project was tedious. There were many cases where a lot of code was sometimes used to create a very small object. As for blending, this technique was used to create some sort of transparent object in the museum. There were two enclosed class cases that ran from top to bottom of the museum. I tried to make the glasses look as realistic as possible, although they did come off quite as how I wanted them to.
