Welcome to the UCSD Student Chapter of AWM!

The purpose of the Chapter is to promote the following:

• an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the mathematical sciences, including pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and their applications;
• a greater understanding of the contributions of women in the mathematicalsciences; and
• mentoring and encouraging women and girls as they prepare for careersin the mathematical sciences.

Upcoming/Recent Events:

• Math After UCSD Workshop - A follow up to our Math After UCSD Panel, this will be an opportunity for undergraduates to get individual advice and help on the applications from current graduate students. THE ONLINE RESOURCES WE MENTIONED AT THE PANEL ARE AVAILABLE HERE.
• Brown Bag Lunches - Every Thursday at noon in the conference room of the UCSD Women's Center.
